HISTORICAL NOTE:
"The sinkholes karst caves are of natural origin with an entrance overhang. Istria is in those chasms that between 1943 and 1947 are thrown, dead and alive, almost ten thousand Italians.
The first wave of violence exploded immediately after the signing of the armistice of 8 September 1943: Istria and Dalmatia in the communist Slavs have their revenge against the Italians did not communists.
